As the season comes down the backstretch, it is hard to pick games because half the teams are mathematically out of it, and I refuse to play big-money line games because that’s the quickest way to lose your bankroll. The Royals and Tigers are bad teams, but two things in favor of Detroit tonight are Kansas City does not play well on the road, and the Tigers are not bad at hitting left-handers. Take the Tigers.
