Rotation # 907
Cubs -130 over Cardinals (loss)
Imanaga/Pallante
The Cubs have been at the two extremes of hot and cold streaks this season and have now won two straight after a brutal stretch of bad baseball. Chicago has a 1/2 game lead in the NL Central over the Cardinals and would like to create some separation in a competitive division led by the Brewers. The NL Central might not be decided until the last week of the season, as it is the most evenly matched division in the National League. Chicago has the better starting pitcher, Shota Imanaga, and the better bullpen. St. Louis has struggled against left-handers this season, so I expect Imanaga to have a solid outing. Take the Cubs.
