Rotation # 539
Pacers +6 over Knicks (win)
The Pacers showed they could play physical basketball and take the pace to a level the Knicks are uncomfortable at. The Knicks are kicking themselves after blowing a lead that hasn’t happened since 1998 in the playoffs. It’s tough to wager on the same teams night after night to find an edge, but the Pacers’ rapid pace is a massive problem for the Knicks. There is decent value in wagering on the underdog. Indiana has all the confidence and started to find their grove behind the three-point line. The Knicks superstars might indeed will them to victory, but I don’t like what is behind them sitting on their bench to take them at this price. Having your best players perform at the highest level night after night is a hard ask. Take the Pacers.

Rotation # 970
White Sox +1.5 runs over Rangers -105 (win)
Burke/Mahle
The Rangers and the White Sox are at the bottom of the league in hitting right-handed pitching. The Texas offense has been non-existent on this current road trip. The weather will be chilly, so I don’t expect an offensive explosion. Rangers starter Tyler Mahle has been sharp so far this year, but it doesn’t mean much if the offense continues to struggle. White Sox starter Sean Burke walks a lot of batters, but again, the Rangers are not a power-hitting team against right-handers. We will go with the run line; getting a run in our favor at around even money seems like a decent bargain, even if it means wagering on the American League’s worst team. Take the White Sox +1.5 -105.
