German Marquez is the much better pitcher in this matchup, but he is wildly out of control at times and gives up his fair share of runs and walks. Seth Frankoff has only pitched 9 innings in his career and has not really looked sharp in those outings. This is a hitters ballpark with perfect conditions and they wind will be blowing out. I don’t see Frankoff getting into a rhythm and I can see Marquez getting into trouble via walking too many guys. I think we see offensive fireworks early and often. Take the Over.
