Illinois -3.5 over Purdue (win)
Both teams have done tremendously well in having youthful lineups and competing at a high level. Unlike many teams, Purdue didn’t dip into the transfer portal and showcase camaraderie that most teams don’t have. Illinois went hard in the transfer portal and has weathered the storm of injuries that lost them a few head-scratchers. The Illini are fully healthy and have the advantage of being at home. Illinois has a much deeper bench, which goes a long way when everybody feels fatigued at this point of the year. The Illini should be able to win with their size and pace. Tomislav Ivisic will clean up around the rim. The Illini guards will be too much for the Boilermakers to handle. Take Illinois.
