Rotation # 845
St. John’s -4.5 over Seton Hall (win)
Seton Hall is on the NCAA Tournament bubble, currently on the outside looking in. If the game wasn’t so important, the Red Storm could easily help out a conference member by taking the night off. St. John’s needs to win to ensure the #1 seed in the BIG East Tournament and, more importantly, at least a share of the BIG East Regular Season Champions. The Red Storm has the size and experience advantage tonight and will not take this Pirates team lightly, as they needed a big second half to beat them at home in the prior matchup this year. The Red Storm should win on the glass and turn the ball over fewer times. Both teams excel on defense, but St. John’s has the advantage on the offensive end and can do so with tempo. Zuby Ejiofor is a well-rounded player who is great in the paint. Dillon Mitchell is another veteran big man who shares the ball well, finding instant offense for his teammates. Rick Pitino will look to have his team firing on all cylinders as they look to defend their BIG East crown next week. Seton Hall’s best scorer and ball handler, Adam Clark, tweaked his quad the other night, which can’t help their chances if he can’t give it a go. Najai Hines exited the last game, and his potential absence would make the Pirates that much smaller. Take St. John’s.
