Neither team has been hitting the ball well this month. The good news is that it will be a lefty-on-lefty starting pitchers duel. Both teams hit left-handed pitching much better than they hit right-handers. It will be a nice evening at Great America Ball Park with the winds blowing out, especially early on in the game. It’s hard to trust the Reds’ bullpen, so it’s a perfect opportunity for Arizona to break out of its slump, especially if Reds starter Nick Lodolo continues to give up big hits. Look for both teams to do enough to make it a higher-scoring contest. Take the Over.
