Rotation #885
Michigan +4 over Purdue (loss)
Purdue is 9-1 on their home court and has played great defense against quality opponents. Michigan has also played great defense and plays well on the road. Head Coach Dusty May is doing a tremendous job during his first year in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines hit the transfer portal hard in the offseason, bringing in players of superior size. Vladislav Goldin leads Michigan in scoring as he does a great job getting to the foul line and being physical around the bucket. Danny Wolf is another transfer that cleans up on the boards. Purdue didn’t make much noise in the transfer portal and relies on many deep-bench players from last year. Braden Smith will always be the best guard on the floor, and Trey Kaufman-Renn has improved tremendously. The Wolverines have the size to make this a 40-minute battle. The Wolverines play great three-point defense and must focus on stopping Purdue from the three-line if they want to walk away with a win. The Boilermakers might be unsure of themselves after their shocking loss at home to Ohio State on Tuesday. Take Michigan.
