You have to feel for the Golden Giffins as they had a tough time with covid going through the program and just have not played a lot of games this year. This is a team that just has not been on the road that much and I don’t like them as a favorite of this much in this spot. Fairfield played the transfer game well this offseason and brought in a few players from bigger programs. This team isn’t great, but they are better than their record indicates. The Stags have pulled off a few upsets so far against top level MAAC teams. I think they have the better scorers and more guards who can share the basketball. This should be a good game. Take Fairfield.

Cal State Northridge (CSUN) +3.5 over Hawaii (win)
The Matadors are trying to get to .500 basketball and trying to send Hawaii home tonight with the same record. Both teams have the ability to put up points. I like CS Northridge tonight because of their superior size advantage and overall experience. Darius Brown is a great assist artist. TJ Starks is a New Mexico transfer that is a good 1-2 punch with Brown. Look for Mark Gottfried’s team to take care of business on their home court. Take Cal State Northridge.
