The Ed Cooley era has been frustrating, but it’s a step in the right direction compared to the Patrick Ewing era. Georgetown is a bad basketball team that can’t beat quality basketball teams. The Hoyas need to work on defense in the offseason. Villanova has their defense down and has been outstanding over the past few games. The Wildcats play a slow-tempo offensive style as entertaining as watching paint dry. Villanova should win, but they must play better to be double-digit favorites in conference play. The under looks like a more appealing wager. Look for the Wildcats to get their defensive stops and on offense to struggle with enough possessions to keep this a low-scoring game. Take the Under.
