Pittsburgh heads into the Sun Bowl with their top quarterback opting out and backup Nick Patti nursing an injury. Two players on the Panthers’ Offensive line opted out, and running back Izzy Abanikanda opted out. I don’t see Pitt scoring too much in this game. On defense, the Panthers will be without their top 2 sack artist, so UCLA QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson should have a field day as a duel-threat QB. Running back Zach Charbonnet should have a great day running, and WR Jake Bobo is a great receiver that can burn any defense. The Bruins should win this game by a comfortable margin. Pitt is severely shorthanded, and it would be shocking if they could hang in this matchup. Take UCLA.
