The Yankees are the best team in baseball, but in the second half of the season are just 7-13. Boston is four games back of a wildcard slot, and they too are just 7-13 since the all-star break. I give the edge tonight to Red Sox pitcher Nathan Eovaldi over Domingo German, as Eovaldi has a slightly better ERA, and German doesn’t have the work this year to be consistent. Boston hits the ball well at home and should outlast the Yankees. Take the Red Sox.
