The Brewers are looking to lock up the best record in baseball this weekend and reach 100 wins tonight. The Phillies are trying to make the Wild Card, and barring an epic collapse paired with Arizona finishing the season on fire, they should do just that. Citizens Bank Park is a hitter-friendly venue, but it’s getting cooler in the Philadelphia area, and the winds are blowing in. Pitching really starts to matter, especially in the later innings. Neither starter is especially impressive, but the Brewers have a clear bullpen advantage. Shane Drohan will likely go only a few innings before handing the ball to that bullpen. Phillies hitters who have struggled this month won’t see the same pitcher very often, if at all. Look for Milwaukee to rattle young Andrew Painter early, then hold off the Phillies with their bullpen. Take the Brewers.
