It’s really hard to trust the A’s bullpen as they are dead last in the majors in ERA. Baltimore won the first two games of this series, and a sweep could go a long way. The A’s have suffered too many offensive injuries that used to cancel out how bad their pitching was. You can’t feel confident they can win close games until their pitching improves, which will take a full offseason to address. If Baltimore wants any shot at a postseason appearance, they have to beat teams that have little to play for. Take the Orioles.
