Knicks +6.5 over Spurs (win)
The Spurs are an outstanding basketball team, but maybe their lack of playoff experience and youth is holding them back in this moment? The Knicks are an experienced team that has paid its dues over the last few playoff seasons. There is no doubt that the Knicks starters have the talent to win a championship, and the question is whether the Spurs bench can take advantage of the weaker Knicks bench. I am not so sure they can. It’s hard to trust the Spurs as large favorites, even though they have the skill set or size to even up the series. Could you imagine being a bookie in New York right now? The betting public has cleaned up as the Knicks have covered all but one playoff game this year. We keep waiting for Vegas to adjust, but they have not. The Spurs are among the youngest teams to reach the NBA Finals. San Antonio also has a 39-year-old head coach. Knicks coach Mike Brown has been coaching since Mitch Johnson was in grade school. Knicks star Jalen Brunson is a true game-changer, hungry to win an NBA Title. Let the Spurs prove they have the mental toughness not only to win this game but to win by a large margin, and you can live with the results. San Antonio had the game called their way in the opener as they got out to an ideal start and a massive lead, and still couldn’t close out. It’s hard to trust a team that is as young as a lot of college programs. If the Spurs can cover, then so be it. It’s hard to go against a Knicks team that has won 12 straight. The line tonight is set up for a bunch of “sharps” to think that wagering on the Knicks is too good to be true. As you know, nothing when it comes to sports betting is a sure shot. One thing that can’t be overlooked is the veteran presence of the Knicks team that won’t be rattled if the Spurs go on a big run. I am not sure we can say the same about the Spurs in this scenario, and I wonder how they will react if the Knicks go on a big run. Take the Knicks.

Rotation # 975
White Sox +150 over Phillies
Kay/Luzardo
Both teams have been playing well. The Phillies are winners of three straight, but their slugging percentage does go down against left-handed pitching. Anthony Kay has been solid in his last few starts and will look to hold the Philadelphia run total to a minimum. Chicago is coming off an outstanding overall performance against the Twins last night and will look to carry that momentum into the series opener against the Phillies. The White Sox are great against lefties and have favorable odds as the underdog. Take the White Sox +150.
