Knicks -2.5 over Cavs (win)
The betting public has cleaned up by blindly taking the Knicks in every game this postseason. Tonight, the betting public favors New York once again. Can you blame them? It’s really hard to justify taking the Cavs after they visibly quit in Game Three. The problem the Cavs have is that their defense isn’t of playoff-quality, so they must have an offensive explosion and hope the opposing team has an off night. The Knicks’ defense is too good, and Jalen Brunson is too talented a player to be slowed down by the Cavs. It’s hard to get over the visual of watching a deflated Cleveland team quit last game, and for their coach to nonchalantly make excuses for his team.  New York should be able to do whatever they want in the paint and knock down three-point shots against a poor three-point defense.  I don’t care if the Cavs win by 50 tonight. There is nothing in the Cavs’ team chemistry to trust right now, especially given their body language, which shows surrender. The final few minutes the other night showed the white flag has been raised. The only way Cleveland wins this game is if they get out to an abnormally hot start. I don’t see any more fight in them if they get down by double digits. Take the Knicks.

Rotation # 921-922
Mariners/A’s Over 10.5 runs (win)
Castillo/Civale
The wind is blowing straight out at the Athletics’ temporary home at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento. As the weather gets hotter, we will see more and more moon shots in this small park. Mariners starter Luis Castillo has been knocked around this year,  while A’s starter Aaron Civale’s strikeouts have been down and his walks have been up. Both teams should do enough early to make it a higher-scoring game. It’s hard to trust the A’s bullpen, which could open the door late for the Mariners. Take the Over.
