The Knicks have taken control of this series after their convincing win the other night, and who will ever forget the game one meltdown by Cleveland that might go down as the biggest choke in NBA playoff history. We still can’t count the Cavs out until they lose a game on their home floor. Both teams were separated by just one game in the standings this season, and if Cleveland didn’t collapse in Game one, this would feel more like a competitive series. The Cavs should up the pace on their home floor and have no shortage of individual talent capable of taking over a game. I expect Sam Merrill to shoot better than his 0-for-7 performance from the three-point line the other night, and for James Harden and Donovan Mitchell to have big games to avoid the dreaded 0-3 hole. Take the Cavs.

The Red Sox are awful at home and have the worst slugging percentage against right-handed pitching in baseball. The only advantage Boston has tonight is the Twins’ bullpen’s instability, though it was their own bullpen that blew the game they were in full control of last night. It will be a bullpen-type game for Boston as Jovani Moran will get the first inning or two, leading the way for the struggling Bryan Bello. Minnesota should get on the board early and often. Take the Twins.
