Rotation # 543
Spurs +6.5 over Thunder (win)
San Antonio won 4 of 5 regular-season matchups against the Thunder, yet finds itself as a decent-sized underdog tonight. The betting public is wagering heavily on the Spurs, and in tonight’s case, it’s hard to disagree with them. Both teams went on red-hot runs to end the regular season. The Thunder will be getting Jalen Williams back, which could help with defending Victor Wembanyama. Still, he is next to impossible to guard, standing at 7’4, and his presence alone leaves teammates wide open. Williams has not played for a few weeks, so I doubt he can log maximum minutes if he plays tonight. I believe San Antonio is in a prime position to steal game one. The Thunder have been idle since May 11th, meaning we could see some early rust. We are in for a fantastic series between two youthful teams with unlimited talent. The Spurs have come out of nowhere as they were not even a playoff team last year, and the young Thunder have not felt any pressure on their road to defend their title. We will take the points and live with the results. Hopefully, the Spurs can take advantage of their size and possibly get out of the gates early as the Thunder try to revamp their game after a week off. Take the Spurs.

Rotation # 955-956
Mets/Nationals Over 10 runs (win)
Scott/Irvin
The Mets’ confidence is sky high after defeating the Yankees in the fashion they did yesterday. New York travels to Washington to take on the Nationals with swagger and looking to beef up their slugging percentage against right-handed pitching. The good news is Nationals starter Jake Irvin has not impressed in his last few starts, and the Nationals bullpen is one of the weakest in baseball. The Nationals have a lot of power in their line and will look to hit the ball a long way on a warm evening and with the wind blowing out. Look for a higher-scoring game. Take the Over.
