Rotation # 608
Georgetown +3.5 over Villanova (loss)
Shockingly, the Wildcats had immediate success with a bunch of transfers in coach Kevin Willard’s first year at Villanova. It’s equally shocking how well Georgetown has been playing, winning four straight games. Getting Julius Halaifonua back would be a bonus. Ed Cooley has an experienced group of players that match up well against the Wildcats. Malik Mack and KJ Lewis are experienced guards who shoot well and find open teammates. 7’1 Vincent Iwuchukwu is a mountain in the paint as he redirects shots and secures rebounds. Both teams play at a slower pace, and the similar styles could have this afternoon’s game at Capital One Arena come down to the wire. Take Georgetown.

Rotation # 693
SMU -4.5 over Pitt (win)
There are a couple of disadvantages Pitt is at right now, in addition to simply not being a good team at the moment. The most glaring is their short rotation. It’s hard to put so much pressure on the starters, expecting them to play the entire game. In addition to being short-handed, the Panthers are on the smaller side. Mustangs Center Samet Yigitoglu could have a big day today, not only in the box score, but also in getting Pitt players into foul trouble. Boopie Miller has the endurance and conditioning to play the bulk of the game and should get his teammates involved while leading the team in scoring. The Mustangs have a bit more depth and should secure the road win against a Pitt team currently in the basement of the ACC. Take SMU.

Rotation # 789
Georgia Tech +7.5 over Stanford
Georgia Tech continues its West Coast road trip after a tough loss against CAL. I like how the Yellow Jackets competed in the second half, coming all the way back from a massive halftime deficit. Much like the other night, I question the large spread against a Stanford team that has struggled just as much as the Yellow Jackets. Stanford is without Chisom Okpara for the remainder of the year, which takes away key size and scoring. Yellow Jackets Senior guards Kowacie Reeves and Lamar Washington will look to up the tempo, put up offense, and create turnovers. The spread might be a tick too high, as it was the other night. Take Georgia Tech.
