Rotation # 623
Texas A&M -1.5 over Florida State (win)
Texas A&M and Florida State have a lot in common, as they showcase new coaches, feature new players up and down their lineups, and like to use tempo. Both teams have won their games against non-power-conference opponents and lost to higher-quality teams. The Aggies are a deep team that brought in a lot of quality transfer talent from big-name programs, while FSU went more down the road of smaller-conference transfers. Aggies coach Bucky McMillan has more experience at the college basketball head coaching level, while Seminoles coach 35-year-old Luke Loucks comes over as an assistant coach from the NBA Kings organization. The Aggies recently lost to two similar opponents (Oklahoma State and UCF) and will learn from that experience as the schedule gets harder. We will go with the more established veteran talent at the power conference level. Ruben Dominguez is a talented international player from Spain, a fantastic addition to the program. Take Texas A&M.

Rotation # 326
Arizona State +1.5 over Arizona (loss)
The path to the BIG 12 Title Game is slim for Arizona State. The Sun Devils need to win, and then tomorrow will be up early, scoreboard watching. Head coach Kenny Dillingham will have his players ready to do what is in their control and worry about what’s not tomorrow. The Arizona Wildcats are playing well, winners of four straight, looking to end the season in the top 25. Tonight’s Territorial Cup should be entertaining. The Wildcats got rough news this week: their best offensive lineman, Tristan Bounds, is out for the season. The status of another starter, Chubba Maae, is in question. Arizona State has a talented front seven that will look to pressure QB Noah Fifita before he gets time to throw downfield. The Sun Devils have a lot of experience in the secondary and will need to create turnovers. Most teams are totally out of it when their starting QB gets hurt, but Jeff Sims is a journeyman backup who can escape the pocket and make life difficult for the Wildcats’ front seven, which isn’t deep or good against the run. The Sun Devils’ game plan should be to run the ball with Raleek Brown and control the clock. Jordyn Tyson should be another week healthier and will be a threat to pick up a lot of chunk yardage. Take Arizona State.
