The Cubs were a swing of the bat away from taking a monster lead in last night’s game, but they blew it in an instant as the Royals turned up the offense tempo and scored 11 unanswered runs. The Cubs will look to raise the W flag at Wrigley, facing a Royals team that doesn’t hit left-handed pitching well. Cubs starter Matthew Boyd has a massive advantage over 45-year-old journeyman Rich Hill, who will make his first start of the year. Hill has been average in triple-A ball, so I doubt he will put down too many Cubs hitters who thrive against lefties. We will take the run line. Take the Cubs -1.5 runs -110.
