Neither starting pitcher in tonight’s matchup has been reliable this season. Houston starter Jason Alexander has been knocked around in his short MLB career, as his control has been all over the map. A’s starter JP Sears has struggled this year, which isn’t good news for an A’s team with the worst bullpen in baseball.
