The Twins have struggled against left-handed pitchers this season and are one of a handful of teams with no home runs against them. Twins starter Pablo Lopez has been good in his first two appearances this year but lacks strikeout power. Royals starter Cole Ragans has a big arm and should keep the Minnesota hitters from getting many extra-base hits. Kansas City needs to take advantage of a team struggling to find offense.
