Rotation # 682
Georgetown -2.5 over Providence (win)
Both teams are looking to improve their positioning for the BIG East tournament, as they are in the middle of the pack with just six wins. Providence struggles on the road, while Georgetown is 12-4 at the Capital One Arena. The Hoyas have played solid defense under head coach Ed Cooley and are a much-improved team. Providence has a few key players that are dealing with injury. Wesley Cardet has been out a few games, and Corey Floyd missed the last two. If neither guy can go or is limited, that hurts the Friar’s chances for second-chance points and takes points off the board. The Friar’s defense has struggled, so losing any offense hurts. Take Georgetown.
