Rotation # 273
Falcons -2.5 over Buccaneers (win)
Tampa has relied on Mike Evans and Chris Godwin as the featured receivers for the past decade. It’s going to be weird not seeing them in the lineup. The Bucs’ entire identity is now different. Tampa doesn’t have the talent to hold up in the passing game at the NFL level right now. Look for Atlanta to load up on stopping the run. Atlanta could be a better defensive team, but this is the NFL, and players can stop what they know is coming. The Falcon’s offense is well-balanced, and they have no problem scoring today. The Bucs will need significant defensive help to keep up on the scoreboard. After today, Atlanta fans will have a clearer picture of head coach Raheem Morris and the direction of their organization. You have to win divisional games served up on a silver platter. Take the Falcons.

Rotation # 272
Dolphins -4 over Cardinals (loss)
The Cardinals must travel across the country for an early start against a Dolphins team that gets their quarterback. Miami fans have mixed emotions about Tua Tagovailoa playing after the scary hit he took a few weeks back. The team would not put him in the lineup if he wasn’t ready and cleared all testing. Speaking of pure X’s and O’s, the Cardinals have issues in the secondary as Sean Murphy-Bunting is out of the lineup. Arizona is very young at the corner position. The Cardinals will also be without the services of a handful of key players on their front seven. Miami has talented receivers who can work the edges and should run a heavy dose of De’Von Achane and Raheem Mostert. The Dolphins are a well-balanced offense that should leave the Cardinal’s defense on their heels all afternoon. Look for the Dolphins to get a big home win to welcome back their QB. Take Miami.

Rotation # 284
Bengals -2.5 over Eagles (loss)
Once off to a slow start, the Bengals have a chance to get back to .500 at home. The Eagles know a lot about slow starts, as they have yet to score a first-quarter touchdown this year. Philly won on the road last week, but you can’t expect to be successful when slowly starting games on the road. Philly will be without Mekhi Becton on the offensive line, which is not good news for a line that has yet to live up to past season standards. Tight end Dallas Goedert will miss today’s game, which takes away a check-down option when things aren’t going your way. Cincinnati plays tough football in the grueling AFC North, so we will see if Philadelphia can match their toughness. Tee Higgins might miss the game, so Joe Burrow needs the most out of Ja’Marr Chase and will run the ball with Chase Brown and Zach Moss. The Bengals have a lot of talented players on defense and will look to shut down Jalen Hurts and the Eagles’ passing game. Take the Bengals.

Rotation # 275-276
Bears/Commanders Over 46 (loss)
It’s a crisp day in Landover, MD, with almost no winds. It’s perfect football weather for two future star quarterbacks. Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels are far from the Mahomes/Brady matchups of yesterday, but the NFL markets their up-and-coming stars hard, and it would be great for the league to have two rookie quarterbacks put on a show. Commanders QB Jayden Daniels has been outstanding this year. Having a superstar receiver like Terry McLaurin can rub off on players. Daniels and his receivers will look to exploit a Bears secondary that is missing two starters. Bears offensive coordinator Shane Waldron has done a wonderful job opening up the once-borning and predictable Bears offense. Chicago QB Caleb Williams has looked sharp in the last few weeks. Both teams have no shortage of good running backs, playmakers at receiver, and two youthful quarterbacks who can get big yardage with their legs. Look for an entertaining, high-scoring game. Take the Over.
