Vikings/Rams Over 47.5 (win)
The Rams want to bring back Cooper Kupp and possibly Puka Nacua tonight. It’s an interesting decision on a short week, but it shows how determined they are to climb out of the NFC West basement. Players such as Tuta Atwell and tight end Colby Parkinson have elevated their games without Rams starters in the lineup. The depth of this team will be tremendous once everyone is back healthy. The Rams’ offensive line is far from full strength, but they should get relief against a Viking’s defensive line, which could be better. I am interested in how the Rams’ new defensive coordinator, Chris Shula, does on a short week against an outstanding Vikings offense. The Rams don’t have the front seven they had in the past and are dealing with a few injuries. Aaron Donald isn’t coming out of retirement any time soon. I expect the Vikings will run the ball and attack the rookies. Both teams have good running backs that force the defenses to honor the run. Setting up the pass is easier when you can run a balanced attack. Look for an offensive shootout to start the new week. Take the Over.
