Wagering on “bad” teams on the road is risky, but I don’t think Kansas State is worthy of being such a big favorite just because they are the home team. Tonight’s game has a lot of similarities to last night’s Georgia Tech/Notre Dame Game. Like the Yellow Jackets, the Cowboys are winless on the road but just came off a victory over Kansas State in Stillwater. Both teams are 2-6 in conference play and evenly matched. The experienced Cowboys can play at a fast pace and dictate the tempo. Kansas State is not a good rebounding team, so Oklahoma State, confident on their head-to-head win a few weeks ago, will be ready to play. Abou Ousmane has the size around the rim to grab rebounds and block shots. Marchelus Avery is another big body that will use his size for easy points. Look for this game to go down to the wire with the Cowboys securing the cover. Take Oklahoma State.
