Rotation # 606
Kansas State -6.5 over Arizona State (loss)
The Conference tournaments are all tipping off, and we will try to pick on a few teams that are not in good places right now. Playing too many games wagering on the bottom of the brackets is not wise. Arizona State is in a tough spot after the dismissal of top scorer BJ Freeman. Jayden Quaintance and Adam Miller also have missed a few games. It’s hard to get maximum effort from a program when shorthanded. The Sun Devils don’t have the bodies to make a run. Arizona State is not a good offensive-rebounding team and fails to force many turnovers. They could be in for a long day if they don’t shoot a high percentage on their possessions. Kansas State isn’t a team to write home about, but they share the ball well and defend the three-point line. Brendan Hausen and Dug McDaniel are two transfer guards who made an impact this year. Senior David N’Guessan is a big forward who can grab rebounds and create easy buckets. The Wildcats have a little bit more juice. Take Kansas State.

Rotation # 608
Utah -2.5 over UCF (loss)
UCF and Utah are two teams that struggled away from home this year. The Utes are a much healthier team. UCF has the status of Mikey Williams and Jordan Ivy-Curry up in the air and has been without a few bench players for most of the year. The Knights are a great offensive team, but they trade playing any defense for the luxury of watching the ball go in the basket. If the three-point shot doesn’t fall, the Knights will not win. Getting hot on a neutral court you are unfamiliar with is always challenging. Gabe Madsen is the heart and soul of the Utah team. Madsen leads the team in scoring. Everyone on the Utes can pass the ball well, as they are good at spreading the floor. Utah should win on the boards and have the ability to make easier shots. Take Utah.
