Suns +6.5 over Lakers (win)
The Suns are one of the most complete teams in the NBA. This team would be unstoppable if they were better on the glass. The Lakers are a little bit better of a rebounding team, but I don’t think it’s enough to make them such big favorites. It’s just weird that Vegas would make the higher seeded team. Phoenix is is desperation mode and I believe they have the more talented team and will at the very least not get blown out on the road today. Take Phoenix.

Clippers -3.5 over Mavericks (win)
Luka Doncic is fun to watch, but he is a little hobbled right now and this Clippers team is just a much better overall basketball team that can tie the series today. The Mavs have show signs of how good they can be and I believe they are close to being a championship level team, but they have a lot of flaws that people don’t really look at because Doncic is so entertaining. This team doesn’t share the ball well and they don’t force the turnovers needed to take over games. LA was down huge the other night and found their second win. This team was all but out of the postseason had they lost game 3, but they battled back on the road and finally woke up. Take the Clippers

Cubs -110 over Reds (loss)
Arrieta/Mahle
The Cubs are looking for seven wins in a row and another series sweep today. The Reds are playing very poorly. The Cubs are just too locked in to wager against at this price. This team has not lost by more than 1 run in any game here in May. That is super impressive. The Cubs pitching has been on point while the Reds are one of the worst in the league. Let’s ride the hot hand. Take the Cubs.
