Rotation # 397-398
Houston/Baylor Over 57.5 (loss)
There is only one team in the BIG 12 this season that has won every road game so far, and that is Houston. The Cougars didn’t play well enough to earn a chance at the conference title game, but improved tremendously from a losing campaign a season ago. Baylor did not have the season they envisioned and needs a win today to get bowl eligible. Baylor’s defense has given up too many explosive runs, which could lead to a big statistical day for Dean Connors. Cougars QB Conner Weigman is also a threat with his feet and has a talented enough arm to catch the Bears’ secondary if they try to creep up to slow down the run. Baylor has a lot of offensive weapons that create mismatches all over the field. QB Saywer Robertson likes to take shots down the field. Both offenses can score quickly in different ways. Look for a high-scoring game. Take the Over.

Rotation # 362
Duke -1.5 over Wake Forest (win)
Wake Forest has played outstanding defense this season, but its offense has held it back. The Demon Deacons’ receivers room will need to get a lot better in the offseason if they want to be near the top of the ACC in the future. Duke will not lose focus on today’s game as a win, and some lightning strike odds in other conference games could land them in the ACC Title Game. Unlikely, but the scenario exists. Coach Manny Diaz will have his players focus on what they can control. Duke QB Darian Mensah has been smart with the football this year, and Nate Sheppard and Anderson Castle have been efficient running the ball. Look for the Blue Devils to do enough with a balanced approach to secure the home victory. Take Duke.

Rotation # 427
SMU -13.5 over CAL (loss)
SMU/Cal Over 53.5 (win)
SMU has a golden chance to get back to the ACC Title Game with a win tonight. The Mustangs will face a CAL program that just fired its head coach. Senior Offensive Assistant Nick Rolovich takes over as interim coach, bringing an offensive-minded approach. The Mustangs are better from top to bottom and are well-balanced enough on offense to do whatever they like against the Golden Bears. Mustangs QB Kevin Jennings is playing with confidence and should have a big game. CAL has a lot of injuries and is a big underdog, but their new coaching change could spark a few wrinkles that aren’t on the scouting report. The Mustangs can’t take their foot off the gas as they are in the driver’s seat in the ACC and have legit playoff visions. Take SMU. Take the Over. No parlays.
