The first month of the NFL football season is in the books, as we turn the page on September into October. Last night, a nice win with the A’s and the Yankees, over the total as we got a nice 435 foot shot in the bottom of the eight to send it over the total. That was a really nice game. Lucky win for us after a couple nights of really close losses, we got a really nice gift there. See, it all works out. In the end, you get the bad breaks and the good breaks, they always even themselves out. You just always remember, of course, the bad breaks.
Monday night, we had the Denver Broncos, total control, they blow the game. The day before, the Atlanta Falcons in control and the Bengals win with seven seconds left on the clock. That’s the way it goes sometimes. But again, you always remember them, but you don’t really credit the ones that you win at the end like that. You just think, oh it was a good pick. Well, it wasn’t. Luck has both sides of the coin. It works with you sometimes, and it works against you sometimes. But in the end, it all seems to even out.
October football is here. I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be a big month. Let’s try to go 15 units like we did last October. We’ll see if we can do it again.
