Ryan Silverfield takes over as Arkansas’ head coach following a 2-10 overall and 0-8 SEC campaign in 2025. Tim Cramsey joins the staff as offensive coordinator after previously coaching at Memphis. KJ Jackson returns at quarterback, while Memphis transfer AJ Hill joins the program after previously playing under Silverfield and Cramsey. Arkansas must replace leading rusher Mike Washington following his departure for the NFL, while Braylen Russell returns and Memphis transfer Sutton Smith and Michigan transfer Jasper Parker join the backfield. CJ Brown returns in the receiving corps, while Boise State transfer Chris Marshall and Memphis transfer Jamari Hawkins join the group. Tight end Jaden Platt also returns. The offensive line returns Caden Kitler and Kobe Branham after both served as full-time starters last season, while the group will feature several new starters in 2026.

Arkansas returns three of its top eleven tacklers from last season after losing its top five. Quincy Rhodes Jr. returns along the defensive front, while Bradley Shaw returns at linebacker and Miguel Mitchell returns in the secondary. Maryland transfer La’khi Roland, Cincinnati transfer Christian Harrison, North Carolina transfer Khmori House, and Colorado transfer Carter Stoutmire join the secondary.

Chad Lunsford takes over as special teams coordinator, while Tennessee transfer Max Gilbert joins the program at placekicker. Gavin Rush takes over at punter, while Memphis transfer Sutton Smith provides experience in the kickoff- and punt-return games. The Razorbacks enter 2026 with a new coaching staff and considerable personnel turnover on both sides of the ball.
